• Fry Communications recently expanded its services to telephone directory publishers with the development of a FryCATS mobile phone application that allows BlackBerry and iPhone users to search the publisher's online directory data and view the results immediately on their phone.

• Global Media Solutions has designed a Contract for Media software system to help business publishers streamline management of ad sales, order placement and billing. In July, Business North Carolina selected the system to streamline business processes associated with managing advertisers and placement.

• The Magazine Manager has launched two new software programs for business publishers: The Ad Portal allows ad material submission integration with the Magazine Manager. The Print Prospector allows prospecting analysis of advertising in competing publications.
